Japanese Kogin, Boro and Sashiko - Past and Present!
Hands on practical stitching exploring these three techniques. Challenging but fun! Suitable for all levels of ability from beginners to experienced embroiderers.
Kits for 3 techniques will be provided. These include fabrics, threads, charts and needle for 4+ projects.
Cost £8. 50. (Bring cash on the day)
Students to bring: Small embroidery ring, HB pencil or water-soluble pen, needles of different sizes, pins, threads they enjoy using and may wish to incorporate, usual sewing equipment, lights/lenses if required.
